True understanding tip represented with an open book

“Sometimes it's not enough to know what things mean, sometimes you have to know what things don't mean.”

― Bob Dylan

Be careful with assumptions and figure out true objectives. We must look deeper into a meaning to truly understand it. Learn to ask the right questions in order to find the answers we are seeking. As a leader we must communicate effectively so that people understand what we need them to accomplish. There have been times where I’ve instructed people to handle a task and they came back unsuccessful. Sometimes we need to ask a person to explain to us what we need them to do to see if they truly understand.
